Emily Hammond '19 & Tyler Shuster '19
As all love stories go, Tyler and I were really close friends first. We actually went to the same high school and became friends our senior year. We both ended up staying local and going to different colleges at first. In our sophomore year of college, we reconnected and started dating. I went to a JC that was local and transferred to Cal Lu my junior year. We both ended up finding a calling to the criminal justice world and graduated with our Bachelors in Criminal Justice. We recently moved out to Colorado where we are just living every day. I鈥檓 very proud to say that Tyler has recently accepted a job with the El Paso Sheriff鈥檚 Department. As for me, I鈥檓 looking to start a master’s program this fall for Criminal Justice. Tyler is my biggest supporter and I can鈥檛 wait to see where life takes us next. He鈥檚 my best friend and I couldn鈥檛 see myself living life without him.
